We are preparing for the AGM of the Cole Harbour Parks and Trails Association (CHPTA) coming up this Monday (8 April 2013) at 6:30pm at the Church of Saint Andrew, 2 Circassion Drive. The general public is invited and interested citizens can join the Association at the end of the meeting for the small sum of $5.00 per year. On Saturday I attended a great public brainstorming session regarding the open spaces in the Cole Harbour. I love to walk the trails in Forest Hills and also the Hertage and Salt Marsh Trail. Apparently there are many parks in this area but not everyone is aware of them.
The afternoon was spent in small groups that contributed ideas about how to make this area more liveable, now and for future generations.Ideas were discussed to increase accessibilty, have outdoor art and…
